Chair repair workshop, based in the picturesque Kent countryside, is a family business offering an expert and bespoke upholstery service from frame up design to recovering a treasured item. Choose from the quality fabrics in the workshop or bring your own, your soon to be refreshed item will look stunning and last years to come.
CHAIR REPAIR WORKSHOP began with Keith back in 2002 an adept upholsterer who learned the trade at London Guildhall University (now London Metropolitan University), he is a true craftsman and has been entrusted to bring countless treasured pieces of furniture back to life.
Russell returned home to the family business after spending 5 years in Australia where his love of furniture led him to restore, build and sell pieces in his spare time. Now continuing his training under the watchful eye of his father he adds his unique take to the trade.
Chair Repair Workshop has a vision to continue and develop the timeless craft of upholstery, restoring antiques and creating modern timeless classics.
From Santa's Sleigh and antique Chippendale furniture to awnings at the Tate Modern Gallery and pub seating - no job is too big or too small.
